Mia Ozimba-Mbuya, DDS

Dr. MOM was born and primarily raised in southwest Georgia. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham where she excelled and went on to pursue her dream of studying dentistry at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She attended NYU Langone Advanced Education of General Dentistry Program in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. Dr. MOM received her certificate in pediatric dentistry from Howard University Post-Doctoral Pediatric Dentistry Program. She has also received advanced training in pediatric laser treatments. As a second-generation pediatric dentist, she grew up surrounded by dentistry which lit a fire in her to provide compassionate and quality care to all children. Her favorite saying is, “Every imperfect smile is perfect!” Dr. MOM loves spending time with her husband and their two children, reading, and being near the water.
